The call came in mid-March to local talent company, Call Me Entertainment's president, Rosie Mietzel. Could she come to Nashville Easter weekend... a young country music star of tomorrow that Rosie met in Nashville 2 years ago, had made it to the final round of auditions for NBC's summer series, "Nashville Star" via his strong video audition tape. The show had selected Michael Joseph as one of their finalists, and he wanted Rosie to be on-site to help him through the intricate live audition process with the judges. (click here for full story)

Michael Joseph's newest release "Lost" (release 3.26.09) is dedicated to his Nana who passed away February 4th 2009 during the final stages of the albums completion. "She used to sit out in her car at night with my papa [before they had a CD player] and listen to my songs, all the way through the entire album every night! She was an amazing women who loved her family more than anything, and I will always cherish the love and passion that she had for me and my music." Michael Joseph is a singer/songwriter/musician born in Richmond, MA currently living in Nashville, TN.
Michael's music is as eclectic as his background. A powerful mixture of rock, country, pop and soul that Michael grew up playing and listening to. Michael is dedicated to making music that blends genres together; he calls it "cross-genral." He lives by a quote his father told him when he was young, "to do great things you must believe greatly." (“Change the World”-Eric Clapton) and continues to play regularly across the
northeast and south, more tour dates will be announced shortly. Michael has had
success with all types of listeners, young to old, coast to coast. His music has
brought people together to raise money for cancer, during his relay for life
tour in 2004, as well as his show in Central Park in New York City for Children
with Disabilities in 2005. Michael Joseph is a musician that truly loves music
